Costumed Characters
At the moment SuperSystem is the only comic book game I play at the moment, or used to play. All the other players in my area went away or stopped playing and I'm currently looking for new players. I'm also thinking of getting into a comic book role playing game called Hero System. This gallery will contain all the miniatures I paint for these two games. Each miniature will come with a bio which will include a brief description of the character the miniature represents and the stats for whichever game the miniature is beings used in.
Official SuperSystem Teams
I've collected two teams of miniatures to use in demos for the table-top miniature game SuperSystem. They've been painted to represent official characters from the rule books belonging to the VanG.U.A.R.D. and Red Patriot teams. I wont put team descriptions or character bios up because they're already included in the rule books. If you want informtaion on these teams and characters you'll just have to buy the books :)

Home Grown Characters
Below are all the characters and teams I've created for for SuperSystem and Hero System. When I played SuperSystem my team was mostly made up of miniatures I grabbed from my collection. Below you can find the two miniatures I bought and painted specifically for use as superheroes.
The Vigilantes
(SuperSystem)
The Vigilantes are a group of young Super Heroes who banded together to
fight crime in their neighborhood. They are inexperienced and haven't
figured out how to work as a team yet. Since they don't have access to
proper training facilities most of their training comes from their encounters
with real criminals. This has gotten them into trouble on many occasions.

Marvel Teams
When Wizkids announced they would be making miniatures based on classic comic book characters I was overjoyed. My celebrations were slightly dampened by the fact that it would be another line of cheap plastic miniatures pre-painted with crappy paint jobs, but oh well, it's better then nothing. The miniatures below are those plastic HeroClix minitatures that I have re-based and re-painted for use in SuperSystem and maybe Hero System. Even though you can find pics of repainted figures from several different teams, I only plan on using the figures from the X-Men, Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and maybe the New Mutants. I don't know enough about the rest to write up stats or make up team rosters.
